Oshkosh Marine Supply is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/set-up/operator for our bar feeders, lathes and multi-spindle lathes.
Job Description
- CNC programming/program editing
- Setup and operation of CNC lathes
- Setup and operation of bar feeders
- Inspection of product
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Determine tooling requirements and speeds and feeds
- Calculating job requirements and assist in quoting new jobs
- Instructing and helping machine operators
- Strong communication skills and able to work well with others.
Knowledge Of
- G and M-code
- Conversational
- Mastercam
- Live tooling
- Fanuc, Haas and Mitsubishi Controls (experience with Swiss style lathes is a plus)
- Inspection Equipment
Education and Experience
5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for writing/editing programs and setting up bar feeders and CNC lathes; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and ability.
